Mid-Autumn at Chinese Garden

| |
Hi Huneybees,

I know the Mid-Autumn Festival has already passed us by, but the Chinese Garden is still opened till 7th October 2012 with the Lantern decorations. This weekend will be the last, so don't miss it!

A view of the garden from far.
Allow me to show ya around the garden....

See the full moon!

On arriving the venue, lanterns were "greeting" us already. I met up with Malcolm and Valentine and we proceeded into the garden to be surprised by more brightly lighted up lanterns.

Tulips lined the pavement.

Dragons are definitely not to be missed in any of the Chinese Festival.

Sitting here, I feel like we were gona film some Ancient China Drama. LOL!
Now onto the main features. They are huge lanterns that depict stories from our childhood. Can you figure them out?

Three little pigs!

Will he turn into a prince???

Will you buy a match?
Of course other than the story based displays, there are also little discoveries at every corner of the garden...

More dragons!!!

There's also a Wishing Tree in the middle of the garden. Do be early if you wana make a wish!

More dragon. Fierce right?
Bring some sparklers and have fun in the garden with your family!
Psst, you can enjoy Smelly Beancurd in the midst of the garden. If you're a fan like me, have more boxes!
We stayed till closing time and we had the best of the garden, we could have the Lantern displays all to ourselves and of course I had to take more photos before I left!

Goodbye Chinese Garden. See ya next year!
So bring you family down this weekend to catch the last glimpses of the brightly lighted up displays.

More information and be found here and more photos can be seen here.
